Praise

The lady sitting and gazing at Gakuen with the kind eyes and warm heart is our principal, Ms. Dai Terabe. We call her our founder and foster mother. Although encountering great difficulties in her life, she overcame the hardships to devote her life to education and to contribute to the national culture in an eighty-year career and to the school’s history for half a century. These achievements cast a sacred light on her face. This statue celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the school’s founding and expresses our delight at the honor of the Medal with Blue Ribbon and offers prayers for a long and happy life.
