The qualification for admission was a diploma from a higher elementary school. In the regular two-year course, students were required to receive six lessons in homemaking, sewing, etiquette, Japanese, morals, tea ceremony and flower arrangement. In the special one-year course, they were required to take only sewing, etiquette, and morals, and only a sewing requirement for the graduate course. The monthly tuition was set at an even fifty sen across the board.
